Email

We have been getting regulay emails from Tyson and it is great! He is doing really well and loving every minute. It has been a while since my last blogs. I have been really sick and now I have infected Dave.
Tyson said that it is really hot and humid there and never cools down. He is still in the MTC in Brazil and will be there for another two weeks. He is studying really hard and is making good friends there. He especially loves two of his instructors and says that he wants to keep in touch with them. He already sounds so grown-up! He got to go to the temple and said that he did annointings and was a really great experience. He loves the temple. He gets to go four blocks surrounding the MTC and said that he has never seen so many people and pidgeons he also said that for every pidgeon there are at least two green parrots! When he went to the temple he said that the trees at the temple grounds were full of green parrots.
They went proselyting and it was raining really hard and nobody wanted to stop and talk to them. He thanked me for the umbrella. They got lost and were in a scary area when they came to a crosswalk an older lady was standing next to Ty and he decided to take the opportunity and talk to her about the gospel. He said that she was very receptive and accepted the Book of Mormon that he gave her. If we hadn't gotten lost he said they probably would have not met this lady and shared the gospel with her.
Ty has such an amazing testimony and said that he is so glad that he went on a mission. He said that you can tell the guys at the MTC that are there for the right reasons. He is doing really well with the language and can hardly wait to get in the field.
He still has the little boy in him. He said that he caught a gecko lizard at the MTC, but he let it go. I reminded him of the time that there was a lizard loose in the Relief Society room at church and a sister came running asking me where Tyson was? I ask her why and she told me about the lizard and I assured her Tyson was the one for the job. Ty caught the lizard and there was relief in the Relief Society Room again.

"Milly & Billy"

This was the day of my family Christmas Party and the weather was really bad so my Aunt and Uncle didn't want to go out in the snow, so we decided to stop by their place on the way to my brother's house. They are big U of U fans and so I had their names embroidered on red blankets for Christmas. As a joke I had Billy and Milly put on their blankets. My Uncle is so cute he wanted to make sure that Billy got in all the pictures. My Uncle is 92 now and looks great! We dropped in unexpected but had a really nice visit I am glad that we got to see them. Dave's brother Dan was with us and he took the picture. They sure thought that Graham was a cutie!

It's Cold!

Grandpa why did you do that?

This was at Grandma Afton's. First experience with snow. Grandpa hit Graham with a snowball!
